2013 GNCC Arena Curling
Club Championships

The Fourth Annual GNCC Arena Curling Club Championships will be held at the Bucks County Ice Sports Center in Warminster, PA on August 15-18, 2013. The event will be open to 32 teams with four event finals and a three game guarantee. Teams must conform to GNCC rules regarding arena teams. Entries are due by June 30, 2013.

Bucks County Wins 2013 Elizabeth Child's Challenge!

The Bucks County rink of Christi Freeman, Kristen Weiss, Jessica Welch, and Barbara Murphy won the 2013 Elizabeth Child's Challenge held at the Rochester Curling Club in Rochester, NY over the weekend of March 14-17, 2013. Our rink defeated more experienced curlers from dedicated clubs on their way to a 4-0 finish and the A-Event Final win. Great job ladies!

Bucks County Wins 2012 GNCC Arena Curling Championships!

The Bucks County rink of Mark Wheeler, Joe Philips, Justin Lehmann, and Greg Danks won the 2012 GNCC Arena Curling Championships held in Woodstock Vermont, July 11-13, 2012, defeating the two-time defending champions from Pittsburgh Curling Club in the finals.

Learn to Curl

The next Learn-to-Curl class will be held on two consecutive Sunday nights, July 14th & 21st. Each class is two hours long, starting at 8:00PM. The cost is $75 per person. By the time you complete these two classes, you will be ready to play in a league. Take this class and be ready to play in the next BCCC league session that starts August 11th. The first class consists of about 60 minutes of instruction, followed by 60 minutes of game play with expert assistance. The second class will be 30-40 minutes of instruction, with the rest of the time devoted to game play with expert assistance. You will learn how to deliver the stone, how to sweep, the flow of a game, curling terminology and etiquette, and more. Space is limited, so sign up soon to reserve your spot!

Taking this class entitles you to play in the next league session for free! Membership in Bucks County Curling Club ($100/year) is required to be eligible to play in a league.

We will also be holding classes again in September 2013.

League Info

The Bucks County Curling Club plays year-round, with new league session starting every 6-8 weeks. If you are an experienced curler and want to play, please email us for more information. If you have no curling experience, but want to learn this great game, sign up for our next two week Learn-to-Curl Class.

Membership Update

We currenly have 65 members and room for a lot more. Come join our growing and enthusiastic group of curlers. Curling is the fastest growing winter sport in the world. It is very easy to learn, but takes a lifetime to master.
